3.Hand sanitizer – You never know where you'll have to change a diaper. Soap and water may not always be available for washing up afterward.
4.Plastic bags – Nowhere to dispose the dirty diaper? You need somewhere to store them until you get home.
5.A couple extra pieces of clothing – Leaks happen. It's best to be ready for them!
6.Pacifier – A comfort object will help your baby stay calm during a busy, bustling day.
7.Formula or other snacks – Even if you aren't planning to be gone long, grab something just in case. Traffic jams, car trouble, or a talkative friend could delay your return home.
8.A burping cloth – Avoid soiling your clothes when you don't have a change available.
9.Protection from the sun – Sunscreen or a hat could protect your baby's sensitive skin. Parents Magazine warns that sunscreen should be used sparingly for babies under 6 months.
10.A receiving blanket – This will come in handy when your baby is ready for a nap.
